ENTERING THE DOUBLE GLAZING MARKET IN 2006, FIRST GLASS MADE A CONSCIOUS EFFORT TO BE A SUPERIOR SUPPLIER OF INSULATED UNITS TO THE TRADE

To this end, from our initial operation in clonee, we took delivery of a state of the art insulated glass sealing line in 2008.

Our capability is extensive, with a size limitation of 3600 x 2500, we can accommodate most requirements. In our instructions we included latest technology argon exchange flood-press and automated sealing.
Our process includes a dual PIB and Polyeurothane seal, which is combined with a dessicant impregnated spacer bar. We have achieved EN1279 Parts 2, 3 & 6 assuring our customers of premium quality, durability and argon-retention.

SILVAGLAZE

First Glass has introduced a range of high performance double glazed units, where with the inclusion of soft-coat Low E glass can achieve a centre pane U-value as low as 1.1 in double glazed units and 0.6 in a triple glazed combination.

We can also offer Warm-edge product, which will assist you in achieving up to and including an "A" Window energy rating (WER).

Georgian decorative insertion is still very popular and we have our own on-site facility should this be required. Duplex insertions again are growing in demand and we are geared to assist.
